The Gods of The Walkway

The next-door rational god sprays herbicide on the walkway every half year.
The insects that hate the disaster moved somewhere.



The opposite next-door tidy god covered the walkway with sea sand.
Weed cannot grow on a salty soil, so the walkway is always clean.



The god in my home actually thinks bothersome on a weeding.
He thought how he decreases the weeds without losing insects' habitat.

So he saw them when weeding before. He thought nobody has rights to get rid of them.
He also thought how he had fun with weeding.

He decided that he left low-height weed be.




Nowadays, the walkway became a place where many kind of insects please the god's eyes.



Unfortunately, the shy insects hid under the green at that time...

歩道の神様

隣の家の合理的な神様は、半年おきに歩道に除草剤を散布します。
災害を嫌う虫たちは、どこかに引っ越してしまいました。

反対側の隣の家のきれい好きな神様は、歩道を海の砂で覆いました。
雑草は塩気のある土地では育つことができないので、歩道はいつもきれいです。

私の家の神様は、じつは除草が面倒だなと考えています。
彼は、どうしたら虫たちの住処を失うことなく雑草を減らそうかと考えました。
神様は以前除草をしていた時、そこに虫たちが住んでいるのを見つけました。神様は、誰にも彼らを追い払う権利なんてないんだと思いました。

神様はまた、どうやったら面倒な除草を楽しむことができるかな、とも思いました。
彼は、高さの低い雑草はそのまま放っておこうと決めました。

最近ではこの歩道は、多くの種類の虫たちが神の目を喜ばせる場所になりました。

残念なことに、この時恥ずかしがり屋の虫たちは緑の下に隠れてしまいました...
